K.S.M. writes fiction and sometimes essays. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Bellevue Literary Review, Grain, The Greensboro Review, The Malahat Review, Wigleaf, and elsewhere. Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, she holds an MFA from the University of British Columbia. She lives in Toronto with her overly attentive dog-child and is at work on her first novel.
